The Oak Barn is a very spacious open plan apartment for two on the first floor of our Green Oak Barn. Approximately 16m x 5m, it is divided into four 'rooms' by the oak rafters. Garage parking with entrance door beside. Large peaceful garden and use of thatched folly overlooking potager and wonderful farm valley views across our fields.

The accommodation comprises :
Bedroom area, with a super king-size bed 6'3" x 7'6" with beautiful Edwardian inlaid mahogany headboard. The 1400 pocket sprung mattress is consistently considered very comfortable! Feather duvet and pillows - if allergies please ask for non-feather - and white cotton linen. Comfortable chairs, luggage rack, chest of drawers with hair dryer in top drawer, free-style hanging.
The sitting room area has two comfortable sofas with feather cushions and an armchair, side tables and lamps, Freeview television. Roberts Radio.
Large dining table and chairs - ideal for any computer work as well as dining - with a second smaller TV on the sideboard. Table mats and Napkins, candle holders
Kitchen area with electric hob, oven, microwave, fridge and washing machine. Well equipped, with Nespresso coffee machine (using pods) and cafetiere. Iron and ironing board. Clothes airer.
Light and bright shower room, with excellent water pressure for the shower, and shower gel, shampoo and conditioner, and soap provided.
Views look out over the fields, and the room is wonderfully spacious, light and bright, with a very calm atmosphere created by the oak beams.
The entrance door is beside your own designated parking space in the barn, with a wide easy-rise handcrafted oak staircase.
Enjoy the thatched folly in the garden beside the barn, and relax on the terrace or in the orchard area of the garden. Perfect to enjoy a drink in the evening sun and watch the sunset. David Austin Roses and Sweet Peas in summer.
Lovely country walks from the house, a short amble in our fields, or a 15 minute stroll to our local church which is the sixth smallest in England!
During the cooler winter months, the flat is heated by electric radiators which are wonderfully efficient and keep the apartment very warm and cosy.
