Directions to Wooden Cabbage
From Yeovil
At Yeovil take the A37 towards Dorchester, after three miles turn right to Closworth/Halstock. Follow road for 2.4 miles, ignore right turn to Halstock and turn right 200 yards further on. The entrance to our drive has farm gates, go over the cattle grid and follow the drive, our house is on the left.
From Sherborne
Easiest way is to go via Yeovil.
From Dorchester
Take the A37 towards Yeovil. Turn left off A37 at sign for Evershot. Go through Evershot village
and about one mile further, bear right to Chelborough. Small cross roads - turn right.
Follow the lane for approximately 2 miles. Our turning is on the left (about 200 yards past the entrance to Oaklands House on the right) with farm gates, also saying 'Oakborough Herd' - go across the cattle grid and our house is halfway down drive on the left.
From Bridport
Take the road to Beaminster. On approaching Beaminster turn right signed to Evershot.
Follow the road, go straight across the crossroads (A356) at the top of the hill.
Follow this road (still signed to Evershot), and turn left at the red painted signpost - to Chelborough.
Follow the lane for approximately 2 miles. The entrance to our drive is on the left about 200 yards past Oaklands Farm and House, with farm gates. Go across the cattle grid and our house is on the left.
From Crewkerne
Take the A356 towards Maiden Newton. Follow A356 for about seven miles. Turn left at sign for
Evershot.
Follow the road and turn left at the red painted signpost - to Chelborough.
Follow the lane for approx 2 miles. The entrance to our drive is on the left with farm gates about 200 yards past Oaklands Farm and House on the right. Go across the cattle grid and our house is on the left.
